Bookkeeper

JOB SUMMARY:
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for bookkeeping duties, admin for team and finances process. Administrative duties necessary including day to day bookkeeping coordinating to directly supporting financial chart of accounts. This position is a sole contributor in areas of Financial and Accounting.
RESPONSIBILITY:
- Maintain all QuickBooks online bookkeeping for the company including payroll including inputting all information in the financial management system, payments inputting and vender data information and coordination of accounts payable and receivable
- Data entry vendors and organize computer-based information
- Making payments to vendors that are approved by Managers Controller
- Processing maintaining QuickBooks online
- Work closely with controller and management
- Maintain general ledger accounts
- Reconcile bank statements and all payments for company
- Recognize and address problem areas and issues
Requirements include:
- 5+ years bookkeeping experience preferably
- Must have strong accounting foundation including reconciling bank statements, maintaining general ledger, budgeting and familiarity with payroll components
- Proven effectiveness working with accounting software such as QuickBooks online
- Must demonstrate technical proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Must be able to work independently and within a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting and QuickBooks

SALARY & BENEFITS:
- $23 to $28 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED AND EXPERIENCE:
Master’s Degree preferred or BA or BS in Accounting or Finance, experience with accounting and/or Finance and Healthcare Administration experience,
Minimum of 2 years of recent or previous administrative support experience.
Bilingual skills are preferred, French Creole, Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, or Spanish
