Main office in Randolph offsite offices in Boston, Northeast and Southeast Massachusetts. Direct Care staff, based on the program they work in, are designated to regions, travel for work at patient homes, school and within the community would be required. Expanding to NC and FL.Ā 

JOB SUMMARY:Ā 

Applied Behavior Analysis Program Coordinator is responsible for allĀ  in home andĀ  centers In home services.Ā  Works with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)patients with Autism Spectrum diagnosis (DSM 5), an Autistic/Aspergerā€™s /PDD, NOS and other behavioral health diagnoses. Provides adequate supervision and maintain schedule, plans activities for treatment for all staff Behavior Technicians in a group setting.Ā  Provides administrative supervision on all cases via data analyzing treatment outcomes of programs and auditing reviews. Maintains compliance with policies and procedures on record via audits staff data collection and keeping the program in compliance. Coordination includes Center Program Coordinator engaging parents and patients in the Youth DELC Centers Program, home visits, and transition planning, transport from school to program and home. Facilitates developmental assessments including doing the written reports of such assessments. This is performed by the outpatient mental health clinic program.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

  • Maintains Department of Early Learning compliance out of school programming staff to patient ratios in the center based groups.Ā 
  • Must understand medical necessity criteria and be able to diagnose and assess patients participating in program services.Ā 
  • Must be able to complete Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)Ā  and In-Home Behavioral assessment, treatment plans,Parent trainingĀ  and progress notes in accordance to a policy that meets the professional standards, timeframe, and interdisciplinary and/or care review meetings for a plan of care
  • MustĀ  understand methods of using evidence based measurement and data collection for Behavioral Assessment Tools to create Behavior Intervention Plan using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)Ā  and In-Home Behavioral interventions.
  • Complete all documentation needed and develops clearly defined interventions and measurable goals and outcomes that are consistent with a policy that meets professional standards
  • Conducts home visits to enroll patients into programs and for quality assurance compliance as needed
  • Parenting and Family goals to generalize skills into a natural environment.
  • Patients ABA Treatment Plan need to have clear family and parent training goals. Family and parent training goals will all needs to connect to reinforcement of targeted behaviors increase or Reduction, social skill, community integration, daily routine, instruction to building generalize skills and increase patient functioning treatment goalsĀ 
  • Developing and modifying curriculum for all patient and targeted Behave goalsĀ 
  • Provides group leadership as assigned (parent and /or child groups), including planning program activities connected to treatment goals.
  • Supervises staff to maintain setup, cleanup and playroom maintenance with co-leader
  • Conducts home visits to enroll patients into the program and for quality assurance compliance as needed.Ā

  • Providing weekly reports for enrollment of patients in program, billing alignment with key performance indicators and quality assurance measuresĀ Ā Ā 
  • Reviewing patient Intake assessments, treatment plans, and enrollment packets are complete, and all admission criteria for these services are met for all Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services
  • Maintain a weekly schedule and develop lesson plans for intensive teaching sessions and small group intervention.
  • Manages all students on caseload including monitoring dates, scheduling with school and family, development goals and transition assessments/plans when necessary
  • Complete required documents including assessments, quarterly progress reports, report cards/transcripts (as assigned), graduation portfolios, and other required documents by due date.
  • Communicate regularly with parents/clinical staff to ensure patient goals are being met, and that their needs are addressed in a timely and appropriate fashion.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data on each patient including updating and monitoring data sheets for the educational team.
  • Correctly implement and monitor classroom behavior management system and student-specific behavior plans in collaboration with the behavioral supervisory team.
  • Responsible for following all training on other policies and procedures that do not fall under the above two responsibilities
  • Uses professional language at all times including but not limited to describing the childrenā€™s deficits and/or behaviors and maintaining their safety
  • Guide Behavior Technicians (aides) that support patients on interventions and ensure quality outcomes for all students.
  • Conducts Parent Training groupsĀ 
  • Must conduct trainings for new staff, interns and attend meetings outside of the clinicĀ 
  • Predicts and planning for patient’s needs from program design and development
  • Assist with training and hiring of new staff into a programĀ 
  • Utilizes pre-approved criteria and guidelines to validate medical necessity of continued stay in the program and appropriateness of treatment and discharge planning;
  • Acts in conjunction with the appropriate manager(s) on a daily basis to assess with a census of enrollment and for appropriate alternative healthcare service needs;
  • Strives to maintain quality care while effectively utilizing resources;
  • Identifies and reports any quality or utilization issues to the Clinical Program Director.
  • Performs other duties as required.

KEY SKILLS & BEHAVIOR:

  • Experience in ABA treatment mental health, Early Learning, Early Interventions, Youth DevelopmentĀ 
  • Experience in curriculum development planning, teaching, and coachingĀ Ā Ā Ā 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
  • Self-starter with ability to handle multiple projects at one time;
  • Strong decision-making skills;
  • Appreciation of cultural diversity and sensitivity towards target population;

  • Must be a licensed clinician trained in working with youth and available to staff and supervisor(s) 24 hours a day, seven days a week for a consultation on an as-needed basis.Ā 
  • Must have Clinical and Psychiatric Expertise;
  • Must be able to understand adequate staff supervision; must be able to understand medically necessary for the level of care and Diagnosing. Ā 
  • Must beĀ able to work effectively with patients and families of all ages and cultural backgrounds.Ā Ā 
  • Must work closely with staff members from all departments within the organization to ensure appropriate patient outcomes and resource utilization.Ā Ā 
  • Must understand how to direct staff to help clients with public assistance, insurance requirements, community resources, support groups, and outside agencies for counseling.
  • Possess working knowledge of factors impacting hospital clinical practice, including industry trends, reimbursement issues, standards of care, appropriate utilization of various levels/settings for health care, and treatment modalities.
  • Lead with monitors and maintaining supervision and training for staff development and conducting training Clinic Program Services level of care weekly at Main site Randolph and offsite satellite locations in Medford and Dorchester in Massachusetts.Ā 
  • Assist with as a resource for assisting with implementing programs and organizational climate management.
  • Assist with obtaining and completing Intake Admission documentation assessment and 90-day reassessment within the communityĀ Ā Ā 
  • Will promote Clinic Programs Services and implement communication programs with organizational leaders and management meetings and presenting reports to external resources
  • Will provide individual case load of billable hours weekly 32 or more
  • Progress Notes Match Reproductivity Reports submitted 1 & 15 monthly for as time sheet for billable hoursĀ 
  • Completes Specialty Programs documentation progress notes within 24 hours and uploads inpatient file cabinet in EMRĀ Ā 
  • Verifies patients after appointment or services in EMR

SALARY & BENEFITS:

  • $28 – $47 Ā Fee For Service per hour session with clients per hour depending on licensure and experienceĀ
