In-Home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Clinician is responsible for behavioral assessments for patients with Autism Spectrum diagnosis (DSM 5), an Autistic/Asperger’s /PDD, NOS and other behavioral health diagnoses. Provides adequate supervision and maintain schedule, Behavioral plans for treatment for In-Home ABA Technician Paraprofessional to work on program services. Maintains compliance on medical necessity criteria for record policies and procedures via collecting behavior intervention data information and keeping the program in compliance. Provides service coordination of assigned cases, including engaging parents and patients in the programs, home visits, school special education plan,  and transition planning. In-Home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Clinician works with In-Home ABA Technician Paraprofessional to provide services in the home and community for elderly, adults, adolescents patients with parent/ caregiver within a team. Interventions, best practices services, program specifications are directed by the patient’s needs treatment plan including frequency of time with patient for treatment. In-Home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is trained across program services to provide treatment and work on interventions. Coordination care with collaboration, conflict resolution with families, cultural linguistic competence, patient center strength-based practices are developed to strength communication between families and care. Skill building using structured one-to-one strength-based support interventions to address daily living, social skills communication, behavioral interventions  are integrated into treatment to have patients learn new skills for improved functioning in the community. Cases are assigned within the Randolph, Dorchester and Medford area and traveling to patients’ homes is required daily as part of duties.

Location: Main office in Direct Care staff based on the program they work in are designated to regions, travel for work at patient homes, school and within the community would be required., MA

Qualifications


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • This position requires a Master’s in a Mental Health related field. Must have over two years experience with children and families, including training in family therapy, children play therapy, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Have previous clinical experience at an autism service provider or in a school setting with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Strong ABA and clinical skills.
  • Currently eligibility for professional licensure in the State of MA required and be willing to be trained as an MA Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst and has obtained License Applied Behavior Analysis (LABA) MA Licensure, OR Currently holds Applied Behavior Analysis (BCBA) certification, or be eligible, OR

Currently in a program eligible for Applied Behavior Analysis (BCBA) certification, OR

  • Must be license eligible. Preferred that clinicians have one of the following minimum qualifications and education:
    • Psychologists
      • Doctoral degree in psychology (Ph.D., PsyD, EdD) from an accredited college or university and certification as a Health Service Provider (HSP) by the Board of Registration of Psychology in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, North Carolina Psychology Board or Florida Board of Psychology
    • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers (LICSW or LCSW)
      • Master’s degree or higher in social work from an accredited college or university
    • Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC)
      • Master’s degree in the mental health field (including, but not restricted to, counseling, family therapy, psychology, etc.) from an accredited college or university
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT)
      • Master’s degree in the mental health field (including, but not restricted to, counseling, family therapy, psychology, etc.) from an accredited college or university
  • Must be Culturally and Linguistically competent, bilingual a plus; Haitian Creole, Portuguese Creole, Spanish, Cantonese, or Vietnamese.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

  • Must understand medical necessity criteria and be able to diagnose and assess patients participating in program services.
  • Must be able to complete Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)  and In-Home Behavioral assessment, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance to a policy that meets the professional standards, timeframe, and interdisciplinary and/or care review meetings for a plan of care
  • Must  understand methods of using evidence based measurement and data collection for Behavioral Assessment Tools to create Behavior Intervention Plan using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)  and In-Home Behavioral interventions.
  • Complete all documentation needed and develops clearly defined interventions and measurable goals and outcomes that are consistent with a policy that meets professional standards
  • Conducts home visits to enroll patients into programs and for quality assurance compliance as needed
  • Parenting and Family goals to generalize skills into a natural environment.
  • Patients ABA Treatment Plan need to have clear family and parent training goals. Family and parent training goals will all needs to connect to reinforcement of targeted behaviors increase or Reduction, social skill, community integration, daily routine, instruction to building generalize skills and increase patient functioning treatment goals
  • Approaches progress notes, treatment plans, assessments and discharge plans with fidelity
  • Conducts home visits to enroll patients into the program and for quality assurance compliance as needed.
  • Coordinates the facilitating of complex community based behavioral health care, including mental health and substance abuse program services and assessment of level of care.
  • Lead with monitors and maintaining supervision and training for staff development and conducting training Clinic Program Services level of care weekly at Main site Randolph and offsite satellite locations in Medford and Dorchester in Massachusetts.
  • Assist with as a resource for assisting with implementing programs and organizational climate management.
  • Assist with obtaining and completing Intake Admission documentation assessment and 90-day reassessment within the community
  • Will promote Clinic Programs Services and implement communication programs with organizational leaders and management meetings and presenting reports to external resources
  • Will provide individual case load of billable hours weekly 32 or more
  • Progress Notes Match Reproductivity Reports submitted 1 & 15 monthly for as time sheet for billable hours
  • Completes Specialty Programs documentation progress notes within 24 hours and uploads inpatient file cabinet in EMR
  • Verifies patients after appointment or services in EMR

      • NonExempt $40 to $ 47 Fee For Service per hour session with clients
