JOB SUMMARY:

Finance Coordinator Responsible for daily operations of financial management of patient accounts within ERM and accounting system. Initiates transfer of funds to Patient Accounts and oversees billing within programs productivity. Facilitates payment from discharged patients, including generating receipt of payment. Coordinates the posting of funds to patient accounts in accordance with respective cash/check collection policies. Oversee accounting policies, procedures and protocols for general entries for accounting operational processes for team and finance processes. Oversee enters appropriate accounting. Overseeing all accounting web-based applications regarding accounts payable and receivable. Other responsibilities include ensuring utilization of services within contract and procedure codes, contract management and productivity improvements; participation in monitoring expenditures; monitor compliance with service program requirements through oversight of financial healthcare accounting management, performance review for companies benchmarks, funding reallocation and program and budget reviews and coordinate critical data requirement; data analysis; reporting protocols and follow-up. Direct oversight of direct care staff compensation including but not limited to, bonus accruals, contract interpretation, bonus payments and approvals, and payroll reconciliations.

Bilingual a plus; Haitian Creole, Portuguese Creole, Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, or Cambodian.

SALARY & BENEFITS:

  • $23 to $28 per hour depending on experience

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED AND EXPERIENCE:

Master’s Degree preferred or Accounting or Finance, experience with accounting and/or Finance and Healthcare Administration experience.

Minimum of (1) years’ experience in QuickBooks online and  direct the daily operations accounting management, at least two (1) years previous experience in the healthcare field is preferred CPA or CMA preferred. Reporting to the Director of Patient Financial Services, the Manager will lead, plan, organize, and direct the daily operations of the Patient Financial Services department.
